Collier County Property Taxes
The Collier County Tax Collector assesses
real estate property taxes by using a millage rate (tax amount
per $1000 of property value).
They assess taxes based on the property value as
determined by the Collier Property Appraiser’s office. The
millage rate is determined each year by the Collier County Board
of Commissioners and other governmental agencies.
Tax bills are sent out on October 31 of
the tax year and is due between the months of November
and March. Paying
in November earns you a 4% discount and that discount is
decreased each month that it is not paid until April when it
becomes delinquent.
