Hurricane Season over for Southwest Florida!

Path of tropical storm Barry

After a lengthy Thanksgiving hiatus, the Roorda.com blog returns with a gust of good news!

Admittedly, that was awful. But this isn’t: for the second year in a row no hurricane came anywhere near Naples, FL. In fact, the Collier County area experienced minimal tropical activity of any type. A little wind from the fringes of Hurricane Dean, a little rain from Tropical Storm Barry – nothing sufficient to cause any damage beyond what one might expect from a typical thunderstorm.

You know what that means…it’s time to get in on the Naples real estate action! Bargains abound, but buyers should be alert – prices can only go down for so long before everyone jumps in and we have a corrective upswing. Ready to buy? Contact Larry Roorda for an honest assessment of the beachfront property situation.

Oh, it seems that the season doesn’t officially end until November 30 … better keep your fingers crossed for the next two days!
