New Facility in Southwest Florida to create Jobs

Per Halcyon Business Publications, Inc., 5D Composite Inc. has plans to relocate part of its manufacturing operation to Sarasota County this year.  This move will create 120 jobs over the next five years.  The new jobs created will be higher wage, technology-oriented jobs in manufacturing and engineering, as well as sales & support positions.  5D Composite will manufacture uniquely shaped blades for small wind-turbine units for several small wind-turbine systems manufacturers outside the US and also manufacture structure piping used to strengthen foundations.

Suncoast Workforce is working with 5D Composite to ensure its workforce needs are met, and is already accepting applications via e-mail for some of the new jobs.
