PSIR Market Update – 2011 Sales

Judy Green, President and CEO of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, announced yesterday that the luxury real estate brokerage achieved sales of more than $1.7 billion through the end of 2011, an 18 percent increase from the same period in 2010, solidifying its position as Naples’ and Southwest Florida’s leading luxury real estate firm.

With the largest market share of properties sold for more than $1 million, more than its next two competitors combined, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty is the largest luxury real estate brokerage in Southwest Florida. According to the most recent Real Trends 500, the leading source of analysis and information on the residential brokerage industry, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty enjoys the highest average sales price of any brokerage in the state. Last year, the firm was involved in half of all sales in Naples over $10 million.

“The positive optimism that began in earnest last year is being carried over into the new year.  The 2011 sales figures are a clear reflection that our talented agents are the preferred choice for buyers and sellers in the luxury market,” added Green. “The demand to live in vibrant Southwest Florida and our firm’s in-depth knowledge and expertise will allow us to remain at the forefront of successfully serving the market. Our global Sotheby’s International Realty® network affords us a unique advantage to best service our distinguished clients as we continue to expand our presence in the Florida marketplace.”
