10. Sugden Regional Park

This county-maintained, 60 acre-freshwater lake has a public beach with many water activities. The park rents water sports equipment including paddle boats and you can take waterskiing and sailing lessons throughout the year.

food and eat in the picnic area while your kids play on the brand new playground or take a leisurely walk around Avalon Lake.

9. Bonita Beach Park

Located in Bonita Beach, just north of Naples, this beach attracts a sun and fun loving crowd that enjoy water sports rentals, beach volleyball courts and of course, sun bathing on Southwest Florida’s amazing sandy white beaches. There are also picnic areas with tables and grills, a playground and even a burger joint with yummy smelling burgers and fries.

8. South Marco Beach

We’ve gone north of Naples, FL now we’re heading south of Naples to Marco Island. Unlike in Naples, where all beaches are public access, you’ll need to look for these public beaches on Marco Island. This beach in on the southernmost end of Marco Island with a little bit of a walk from the parking lot. But it’s worth it once you see the wide, white sandy beaches with tons of activity – jet-skiing, parasailing, paddle-boarding and so much more!
